The rule of law and pro-competitive regulatory reforms are cornerstones of Hong Kong's ability to sustain its role as an international financial services centre, members of the Hong Kong-United States Business Council remarked at their 16th Joint Plenary Session, convened in Atlanta, Georgia. The Council, which comprises US and Hong Kong corporate leaders, is a private sector initiative to further strengthen and expand business ties between the two economic partners.
