Hong Kong and Guangdong work closely for win-win situation

Closer co-operation between Hong Kong and Guangdong Province in southern China, would result in a win-win situation said Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa. Right of abode ruling hailed as affirming SAR's autonomy

A ruling by Hong Kong's Court of Final Appeal has been hailed for reinforcing the rule of law in the Special Administrative Region (SAR) and underscoring the autonomy of its legal system. In a unanimous decision the Court declared that three-year-old Chong Fung Yuen , born while his mainland parents were in Hong Kong, was entitled to stay in the SAR. (full story)
