Hong Kong was voted the top city for exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) the best exhibition venue by Singapore-based
CEI Asia Pacific magazine in its recent Exhibition Venues Survey.
HKCEC managing director Cliff Wallace says that HKCEC enjoys some distinct advantages. ˇ§The quality of the venue including architecture, furnishings, functionality is among the best in the world,ˇ¨ he said.

Thereˇ¦s been a surge in the number of cases heard by Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), as Hong Kongˇ¦s role as a leading arbitration centre in the Asia-Pacific region continues to grow.
Over the past nine years, cases surged from 195 in 1992 to 307 in 2001, in categories of commercial, construction, joint venture and shipping.
According to Christopher To, Secretary-General of the HKIAC, Hong Kong is uniquely placed to provide dispute resolution services given its sophisticated infrastructure combined with a pool of high quality and well-educated professionals.
