TDC offers a range of free on-and-off-line services tailored to overseas companies interested in developing or maintaining links with suppliers or manufacturers based in Hong Kong and southern China. Trade fairs - This site provides regularly updated information on the status of trade fairs, including additional shows, details of rescheduling and hygiene measures taken to reassure exhibitors and buyers. You can also pre-register for attendance, or obtain useful information on special hotel rates and airline fares. Sourcing guide - Split into services for buyers and suppliers, this extensive, and regularly updated site, allows you to search for products, services, partners, agents, suppliers or manufacturers. Each entry provides product/service descriptions (often with photos), background information on the company and contact details. Business matching - This site allows companies to post specific requests for products, services, partners or agents. Simply submit your request and wait for a supplier or manufacturer to contact you, or browse through other company requests to see if you match their requirements. Hong Kong has more than 100,000 SMEs who deal with export-related business. Business contacts - Add your company details to this database of local and international firms. Hong Kong companies use this site to identify suitable overseas partners. Special TDC web-conferencing facilities make eye-to-eye contact and sharing documents and images easy, even if you and your potential Hong Kong partners do not have web-conferencing equipment.
