| earthTV president Thomas Hohenacker is proud to add Hong Kong Cyberport to his global broadcast network |

Views that Hongkongers enjoy every day are being beamed to more than one billion people in over 250 countries.
German company earthTV, the world's largest remote controlled live broadcast network, has installed its latest camera at Cyberport, Hong Kong's high-tech hub. Company president Thomas Hohenacker said the camera would showcase a unique part of the city, adding a contrast to many of the more widely-known images of Hong Kong.
"Through earthTV, we are delighted to be able to bring the world to the Cyberport, live every day," he said.
Mr Hohenacker spoke of the synergies between the two. Hong Kong Cyberport stands for innovation and high-tech development - just like earthTV, he said. "The co-operation with Cyberport Management Ltd is an important acknowledgement of the quality and worldwide significance of our product - similar to our partnership with BBC World."
Nicholas Yang, CEO of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, commented on the co-operation: "It's a great match - earthTV is futuristic, dynamic and globally connected - the very essence of Cyberport's role as a high-tech hub serving Hong Kong, China and the rest of the world."

Through the camera - installed at Le Meridien Hotel - Hong Kong Cyberport's vibrant atmosphere and information on important events would be transported to potential business partners and clients all over the world, Mr Hohenacker continued. "earthTV acts as a brand ambassador for its locations, reaching destination marketers, trade development bodies and boards of investment on all continents. As many of our broadcast partners are news and travel channels, we reach the right people."
Mr Hohenacker said Hong Kong is widely known for the fascinating mixture of Eastern and Western influences, its fantastic food, innumerable shopping opportunities and cultural variety. "Hong Kong is without a doubt one of the world's number one cities and is in good company with other earthTV locations like New York, Sydney or London," he said.
"The unique view from Cyberport adds another perspective to our network. While earthTV is focused mainly on featuring the world's key cities, the partnership with Cyberport proves earthTV's strength as communication and promotion tool also for business locations. Prospering high-tech complexes like Hong Kong Cyberport complements our editorial quality in a highly attractive way by showing the exciting world of business. Therefore, earthTV's expansion in the future will certainly follow both directions."
Launched three years ago, earthTV operates a network of high performance cameras at 60 locations around the world, broadcasting live each day on over 35 TV networks in seven languages, and on 3G mobile platforms in Europe and China. This is its second camera in Hong Kong - the first located on the rooftop of the Intercontinental Hotel.
"earthTV is proud to present to its worldwide audiences most spectacular views over the Cyberport complex," Mr Hohenacker concluded. "Our viewers can enjoy creative modern architecture and experience the bustling atmosphere of an IT business hub."
