Li & Fung in 60m euro German deal (03/10/2006)

HK listed global export trading company Li & Fung has agreed to acquire the sourcing arm of German retailer KarstadtQuelle for 60 million euros (US$76m) pending approval from Germany's Federal Cartel Office. The acquisition would boost its market share in Europe.
