International law firm sets up base (hktdc.com)

Leading international law firm, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP (Fried Frank) in association with Huen Wong and Co is opening its new office in Hong Kong.

Fried Frank employs over 600 lawyers located in the world's leading financial centres including New York, Washington DC, Frankfurt, London and Paris. With the opening of the Hong Kong office, the company has strengthened its international focus and provided itself with new opportunities for growth, profitability and development.

The new office in Hong Kong will provide advice in the fields of corporate law, private equity, real estate, finance, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and arbitration.

Charles Ng, Associate Director-General for Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong welcomed the company's decision to set up in Hong Kong.
